We are excited to invite water warriors to Michigan to share and strategy on the state of the movement for water rights in our communities. The 2nd International Gathering brings together people directly impacted by water struggles and social movement water groups,  plus -- water rights attorneys and policy makers, researchers, scholars, social workers, youth and elders from across the U.S., First Nations and international countries. This gathering takes places from June 8-11, 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.

Your participation will strengthen the global movement for the human right to water and sanitation in every community. All people have a right to access clean, safe affordable water. No one should be denied potable water and sanitary conditions because of the inability to pay for it or adequate infrastructure.

Pre-registration is required to participate in meetings during this four-day gathering, including the 2nd National Legal and Legislative Summit, the SWAA Human Rights Rumble and New Poor People's Campaign.

More details will be shared as they become available. We will see you soon!

Please register today and share this page with interested allies. Thank you.
